Call for聽Applications: Fall 2024 CIHR-ICR Early Career Researcher Workshop

The CIHR Institute of Cancer Research (CIHR-ICR) Early Career Researcher Workshop aims to support the professional development of ECRs in cancer research by providing opportunities to network and learn valuable skills related to establishing and maintaining a career in research.

When: November 26-27, 2024

Location: Toronto, Ontario

CIHR-ICR will cover the costs associated with travel, accommodation, and poster printing for the ECR Workshop. Further details regarding expenses will be provided to successful applicants.

Media Training with the CIHR Institute of Cancer Research

The CIHR Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) is hosting its first virtual media training session. Co-hosted by CIHR media relations expert David Coulombe and ICR Scientific Director Dr. Fei-Fei Liu, this session is a valuable opportunity for cancer researchers to learn helpful tips and tricks on preparing for media interviews, sharing the significance of their research in a compelling fashion, and maximizing their media opportunities.

Planning and Dissemination Grants (Winter 2025 Competition)

The Planning and Dissemination Grants are intended to provide support for planning and/or dissemination activities (either virtual or in-person) consistent within the mandate of CIHR and relevant to CIHR Institutes and Initiatives.

• $40,000 is available to fund applications relevant to the CIHR Institute of Cancer Research.
